DiamAura takes pride in providing a cost-free Lifetime Assurance, effective from the date of your invoice, safeguarding against any production anomalies in all Gold and Platinum jewelry pieces.
These production anomalies concern the construction of the jewelry, typically surfacing within the initial few months of use. DiamAura commits to either repairing or replacing any item proven to be faulty as a result of production at no additional charge. In cases where you need to return a product due to production anomalies, all costs related to shipping and postage will be borne by us.
Our Lifetime Assurance covers a variety of production anomalies including, but not limited to:
- Imperfections such as surface pores or blemishes in the metal;
- Inconsistently placed settings;
- Chips, scratches, or nicks present in stones at the point of collection;
- Any inadvertent 'splashes' of rhodium plating stains on the metal.
Lifetime Warranty Premium
We are excited to announce an enhancement to our standard lifetime warranty. Our new Lifetime Warranty Premium offers an array of exclusive services designed to keep your products in pristine condition. This premium option includes complimentary prong, repolishing, rhodium plating, and cleaning services.
Upgrading to Lifetime Warranty Premium is simple. Just share your experience with us on Google Maps. After you post your review, your warranty will automatically be upgraded to the Premium level, ensuring your product receives the highest standard of care.
Exclusions from Lifetime Assurance: Wear, Damage, and Unauthorized Modifications
Our Lifetime Assurance covers manufacturing defects, but does not extend to damage caused by daily use, environmental factors, accidents, or unauthorized modifications. Below are common situations not covered by the policy:
Wear & Tear from Daily Use
- Dings, roughness, and scrapes on settings. Metals are ductile and will show wear over time. We recommend annual professional evaluations to ensure stone security and restore luster through polishing.
- Chips, scratches, fissures, or fractures on gemstones resulting from impact, even minor. Despite their hardness, diamonds and moissanite are vulnerable at their edges and girdle areas.
- Prongs that bend, snag, or wear down over time, potentially causing a stone to become dislodged.
- Loss of gemstones due to accidental damage or normal wear.
- Pits, cavities, or other damage caused by exposure to corrosive substances like chlorine bleach or heavy-duty cleaning agents. Discoloration of metals due to exposure to chemicals, cosmetics, pools, hot tubs, or bathing.
- Discoloration of metals due to exposure to chemicals, cosmetics, pools, hot tubs, or bathing.
- Natural softening or thinning of metal (especially prongs and bands) that occurs over time and may require refurbishing.
Loss of Coverage Due to Modifications
- Our Lifetime Assurance is valid only with proof of purchase and provided the jewelry has remained unmodified.
- If a customer declines our in-house repair service and instead requests parts (such as replacement stones) for third-party repair, the jewelry will be considered modified and no longer covered. Our warranty applies only to pieces serviced by our own team to ensure quality control and craftsmanship standards.
- Any repairs, resizing, or modifications performed by third parties not authorized by DiamAura will void the Lifetime Assurance.
