Sustainability

Diamaura diamonds are created through state-of-the-art technology in controlled environments, eliminating the need for traditional mining. This process not only produces diamonds of exceptional quality but also drastically reduces the environmental impact associated with diamond extraction.

COLORD

Color refers to the natural tint of a diamond. The closer the diamond is to “colorless” the rarer it is. The industry standard to grading color in a diamond is to assign a letter grade from D (colorless) to J (nearly colorless).

Diamond color grade example
JIHGFED
These diamonds are nearly colorless. Any tint they have is hard to see. Best value for money; large stones available at low prices.
CLARITYVS1

Most diamonds have imperfections in the form of internal flaws and surface blemishes. These imperfections are graded on a scale of FL (flawless) to I1-I3 (included). FL diamonds are the rarest and hardest to find.

Very, Very Slightly Included. Inclusions are present, but extremely hard to see — even under 10x magnification.
CUTIdeal

A diamond’s cut measures its anatomy and ability to reflect light. Cut grades go from “Excellent” to “Poor”. Well-cut diamonds have outstanding proportions with immense fire, brilliance, and scintillation.

CLIENT CARE FAQS

How long does it take to craft my ring with DiamAura Jewelry?

If you choose a ready-to-ship ring, it may need re-plating, polishing, or resizing. These will be shipped within 3 business days.

For rings where you select your own center stone and ring setting, we custom-make each order. We carefully design each piece to perfectly fit the stone's dimensions. The crafting time is typically 20 business days.

What Metal Did DiamAura Jewelry Use?

We only use solid metals for our jewelry, never hollow or plated gold. Our standard offerings include 18K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold, 14K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, and platinum. If a customer has special requests, we can also work with 9K or 10K gold.

Our company is legally registered in California and can be found on the California Secretary of State's Business Search website. All our partnering gold and platinum foundries hold proper licenses, ensuring that the castings we receive are solid gold or platinum, not hollow or plated.

For 14K and 18K white gold, we apply a layer of rhodium plating. Rhodium is a rare and expensive metal, even more valuable than gold. This plating is necessary because white gold has a natural pale yellow hue, and rhodium gives it the bright white finish commonly associated with white gold jewelry. Rest assured that the base metal is always solid gold, and rhodium plating is a standard practice in the jewelry industry to achieve the desired white color.

What is Your Crafting Process Like?
  1. Designing the Ring
We start by creating a 3D model based on the size of the center diamond and the ring size. We carefully select matching side diamonds and design the overall structure of the ring setting to ensure a perfect fit.
  2. Casting the Metal
Next, we cast the ring in the chosen metal—either gold or platinum. For two-tone designs, we cast each part separately.
  3. Setting the Diamonds
We first set the side diamonds, followed by the center diamond. We ensure that the diamond's engravings are visible and not blocked by the setting, making it easy for inspection. If the prongs have diamonds, we set them after the center diamond.
  4. Plating (if applicable)
For 14K or 18K white gold, we apply rhodium plating to achieve the bright white finish. Rhodium is a rare and expensive metal, even more valuable than gold. This plating ensures durability and a high-shine appearance.
  5. Engraving
If you have specific engraving requests, we will laser-engrave them at this stage. Otherwise, we will engrave the metal type, center diamond size, and side diamond size (e.g., "18K D3.24 d0.88" for an 18K gold ring with a 3.24-carat center diamond and 0.88 carats of side diamonds).
  6. Polishing and Inspecting
Our experienced craftsmen polish every corner of the ring using various tools. The ring goes through at least five inspections to ensure it is dazzling and beautiful.
  7. Final Quality Check
We conduct a 17-step final inspection to check the main diamond's girdle number, design details, and the security of each side diamond. Only after passing all these checks is the ring ready to be shipped.

LAB GROWN DIAMOND FAQS

Are lab grown diamonds real?

Absolutely! Lab-grown diamonds, like those available at DiamAura Jewelry, are as genuine as their mined counterparts.

What is the difference between natural diamond and lab grown diamond?

The singular distinction between a natural diamond and a lab-grown diamond lies in their genesis. Natural diamonds come into existence deep within the Earth's crust, where extreme heat and pressure facilitate their formation, which are later extracted via mining. In contrast, lab-grown diamonds are cultivated in a controlled laboratory environment, which perfectly mimics the conditions of their natural counterparts, thereby eliminating the necessity for mining. Bearing the same chemical, physical, and optical characteristics, the key difference boils down to the fact that while natural diamonds are procured through mining, lab-grown diamonds are not. This elevates lab-grown diamonds as an ethical, environmentally-friendly, and sustainable alternative, available at DiamAura Jewelry.

Will I get a certification for lab grown diamonds??

Absolutely! Every lab-grown diamond larger than 0.3 carat offered by DiamAura Jewelry is meticulously assessed based on the four Cs: cut, clarity, color, and carat weight, and come with a certification from IGI, the foremost authority in lab-grown gemology. IGI is a widely recognized certifier for lab-created diamonds and is utilized by a significant part of the lab-grown diamond market. This fosters a grading consistency across the industry, which in turn provides customers the convenience of comparing lab-grown diamonds and ensuring they receive value for their money.

Are lab grown diamonds ethically sourced?

Lab-grown diamonds, crafted in a meticulously monitored lab environment, offer a revolutionary alternative to traditional mined diamonds. There's no need to unearth them from the earth, providing a more environmentally conscious choice. This method of production not only minimizes environmental degradation but also eliminates the potential for unethical labor conditions and community displacement that can accompany mining practices.

Why can I find some lab-grown diamonds at much lower prices elsewhere?

Many other platforms list diamonds uploaded by a wide range of small or unverified suppliers. While some of these stones may appear to come with IGI or GIA certificates, we’ve seen cases where certificates are outdated, mismatched, or even manipulated. Without direct control over sourcing, these platforms can’t always guarantee that the diamond you receive actually matches the certificate shown.

By contrast, we personally source every diamond, and we submit them ourselves to IGI or GIA for independent grading—so the certificate is 100% authentic, matched, and verified by us.

  • Value: Our prices reflect true value, without inflated markups—but with full peace of mind.
  • Quality Over Quantity: We don’t sell bulk stones. We focus on handpicked, exceptional diamonds that are then custom-set into fine jewelry.
  • Certified & Guaranteed: Every stone we offer has been physically inspected, certified through official channels, and backed by our brand guarantee.

So while others may show certificates, we stand behind the actual diamond, not just the paperwork. You’re not just buying a cheaper stone—you’re investing in craftsmanship, quality, and trust.
