If we were to take back a customer's old diamond and resell it, that would mean putting a "second-hand" stone into the market—which goes against our standards of quality and transparency. When you shop with us, you can trust that your stone is truly new.
Each ring is individually crafted to fit the exact dimensions of its chosen center stone. Our 3D design files are created so the diamond and the setting are perfectly matched. Because of this, you can't simply "swap out" the stone—the ring has to be melted down and rebuilt. This is a complex process that involves significant labor and material.

If you'd like a new diamond later on, you can purchase it just like your first one.
We'll return your original center stone to you—many clients choose to turn it into a pendant, necklace, or other piece of jewelry.
For the metal in your old setting, we'll credit you the value based on weight and purity, which can go toward your new design.
This way, you get a freshly made ring with a perfectly matched diamond and setting, while also keeping your old stone for something new and meaningful.
